De Kroon Primary School welcomes applications from learners of all backgrounds, faiths and home languages. As a public school under the North West Department of Basic Education, our admissions follow the South African Schools Act and are processed via the provincial online admissions system.
We accept applications from 1 May to 31 July each year for the following academic year. Late applications are considered subject to space availability. Please note that priority is given to learners who live within the school's feeder zone.
Available grades: Grade R, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6 and Grade 7.

Enquire & Visit
Contact our office or book a school tour to meet the Principal and see our facilities.
Complete the Form
Submit the provincial Online Admissions form and the De Kroon supplementary form.
Submit Documents
Hand in certified copies of the required supporting documents at the school office.
Confirmation
Successful applicants receive a placement letter and orientation date by SMS and email.
Required Documents
Please prepare certified copies (not older than three months) of the following:
- Learner's unabridged birth certificate or ID
- Parents' / guardians' South African ID or passport
- Proof of residence (municipal bill or lease)
- Latest school report or clinic card (Grade R applicants)
- Immunisation card
- Transfer card from previous school (Grade 1–7)
- Proof of payment of registration fee
School Fees 2027
De Kroon is a Quintile 4 fee-charging public school. Fees are approved each year by the SGB at the Annual Parents' Meeting.

Fee exemption applications (full or partial) are accepted in line with the South African Schools Act, Section 39. Speak to our Bursar for confidential assistance.
